School holiday fun coming right up!

Council has an exciting range of entertaining, low or no cost school holiday activities to cater for all interests.

Kicking off in December, Redland Libraries have everything from Christmas craft and jewellery making to 3D Design and Paper Vibrobots. The fun continues throughout January and includes a special reptile show by TV’s “Snake Boss”. Check out the library’s full holiday program. Library bookings now open! Many library events require bookings so get in quick to secure your child’s spot.

Redland IndigiScapes Centre and Redland Art Gallery both offer January holiday activities.

IndigiScapes’ environmentally-themed activities include bushwalking, a weaving workshop and IndigiCraft to name a few. Offered in January, bookings open on 19 December but you can check out the Indigi event program now.

In January, the Art Gallery is running four Kids on Tour sessions created by Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art. ‘The Gabori Sisters: Gathering by the Sea Tour’ includes hands-on making and multimedia activities that invite children to consider the unique relationship the Kaiadilt people of Bentinck Island share with the sea. No need to book, just drop in. Check out session details.
