Salt of the earth

The Last Supper exhibition image- credit saved in folder

Don’t miss The Last Supper, a stunning nine-metre-long sculptural installation carved entirely of salt, on display at Redland Art Gallery Cleveland until Sunday 28 February.

By depicting a table of foodstuffs, The Last Supper’s creators Ken and Julia Yonetani use salt to bring focus to the global issues of salinity, environmental decline, climate change and food security.

This month in Cleveland you can also view Attitude As Form, with work from 22 artisans from Australia and New Zealand highlighting the diversity of contemporary jewellery.

Redland Art Gallery Cleveland is located on the corner of Bloomfield and Middle Streets, Cleveland.
