Calling all Pokémon trainers, start your lucky eggs because Redlands PokéFest is a Go!
On the Brisbane Ekka public holiday Wednesday 10 August, Redlands is open for business and Pokémon hunting. There will be lures placed on all 11 pokéstops in the area from 9am-12pm. Share your photos on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #pokemongoredlands to be entered – there will be a prize for best dressed!
Pokéfest coincides with Crazy Day which means there will be heaps of markets, food and music. So come on down, bring a friend and enjoy all the food, shops and pokémon on offer.
Pokémon trainers please take note, to access all areas of PokéFest, you will need to cross pedestrian crossings. Look up from your phone and be aware of your surroundings when crossing the road and be courteous to drivers and other pedestrians. Happy hunting!
