Acting Mayor Wendy Boglary said The Matthew Stanley Foundation is an example of turning a horrible experience into an important message; one that has now been heard across the nation.

“After losing his son due to an assault in Alexandra Hills in September 2006, Paul has dedicated his life to spreading this important message; his strength his inspiring. I encourage all parents to sit down and speak with their kids about this difficult but important message, it may just save their lives.”

“For the past ten years Matthew’s father Paul and others from the foundation have done incredible work in spreading the important message to stop the violence by walking away and chilling out.  You only have to look at the messages posted on the Matthew Stanley Foundation website to see what an impact this message has had on youngsters, it is an important message and one that carries a great deal of emotion.”
