This Sunday 13 September, Redlands IndigiScapes Centre is hosting Bushcare’s Major Day Out – a free family fun day celebrating 20 years of Bushcare groups in Redlands.
Bring along the whole family from 10am – 2pm to enjoy workshops, fun activities, a free short mystery bus tour and plenty of kids entertainment. There ‘ll also be a koala to meet from 11am to 1pm and a rare sight in Redlands to celebrate National Bilby Day … a real-life Bilby for part of the day!
Bring a picnic lunch or enjoy the tasty treats at the Tea Garden Café. For those who can’t resist a BBQ, there’ll also be a gourmet sausage sizzle (a low-cost lunch) available.
Since the start of Bushcare in Redlands 20 years ago, the community has worked with Council to restore and monitor our local bushland areas and there’s still 42 groups active today.
