From late November to early December, residential waste and/or recycling bin days and/or weeks will change for 122 Streets in Thornlands, Victoria Point, Redland Bay and Mt Cotton. The bin collection day for all residents on Lamb, Macleay and Karragarra Islands will also change from Fridays to Thursdays.
These changes are necessary to make collection routes as efficient as possible.
Mainland residents: on certain streets there will be changes to recycling weeks or waste/recycling collection days. If your collection is changing, a bin hanger will be attached to your bin the week before the change.
Lamb, Macleay and Karragarra Island residents: your first Thursday waste collection will be 26 November, with your first Thursday recycling collection the following Thursday 3 December. We’ll deliver a flyer to you shortly with the details.
