Prime Minister Scott Morrison advised on Friday 13 March 2020 that all non-essential mass gathering of more than 500 people should not be held after Monday 16 March 2020.

This move has been taken to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), with the Federal Government to provide further information around the details of the change on Monday 16 March 2020.

Council is committed to working with event organisers who are affected by this decision.
