Due to a Bureau of Meteorology forecast of continuing wet weather, Council has postponed this weekend’s opening celebration event for Bayview Conservation Staging Area at Mount Cotton.

The event was to be held this Saturday, March 24 but in an effort to minimise damage to the new day use area and trails during the wet weather, the event will be rescheduled for Saturday, April 28.

Ranger Stacey has confirmed she will still attend on that day.
