Redland Snapshot – Tuesday 8 April

Get ready to cheer: 11am Saturday 12 April 2014

Air Force Ceremonial Parade

Redland City will bestow the age-old honour of Freedom of Entry to the City to No.95 Wing of the Royal Australian Air Force on Saturday 12 April 2014.

The Air Force Ceremonial parade will be an impressive sight, with around 150 military personnel dressed in ceremonial attire and displaying operational medals and military colours; carrying swords and rifles; battle honours being flown; and a band supporting.

Redlanders are invited to line the parade route on Middle Street, Cleveland to watch this historic event and give the Air Force a warm Redlands welcome.

Please note: There will be changed traffic conditions including temporary closures along Middle and Bloomfield streets, Cleveland from 6am and some changes to public transport and taxi rank locations on event day.

Check our website for more details.
