Cleveland – tree removal and pruning – 6am Saturday 29 March

Redland  City Council  will be undertaking tree removal and pruning at the intersection of Shore Street and Waterloo Streets, Cleveland (in front of the CWA building) on Saturday 29/03/2014 with work beginning at 7am.

Traffic control measures will be in place from 6am.

From 7.00 am, three  of the four  lanes of Waterloo street will be closed for approximately one hour with detours in place.

After this period,  only the southern lane of the West bound traffic along Shore Street West, into Waterloo Street eastern lane (lane closest to CWA building) finishing at Kyling Lane will remain closed until the site is fully cleaned up.

The work is necessary to remove  a dead gum tree and allow pruning of other trees at  the location.

Council requests that all road users drive safely and obey traffic control and police instruction during this period.
