Toondah Harbour and Weinam Creek PDA draft plans

View plans until Monday 24 February 2014

Draft plans for the transformation of Cleveland’s Toondah Harbour and Redland Bay’s Weinam Creek Priority Development Areas are available for public viewing and written submissions until Monday 24 February. To view the plans or make a submission online, visit our website or visit Council’s Customer Service Centres, libraries and key community services on the bay islands.

Come to an information forum
Toondah Harbour forums:
• Saturday 1 February, 1–3pm at Island View Cafe, Toondah Harbour Ferry Terminal
• Friday 7 February, 3.30–5.30pm at Island View Cafe, Toondah Harbour Ferry Terminal
• Saturday 8 February, 1–3pm at Dunwich Community Hall, Dunwich, North Stradbroke Island.

Council Grants and Sponsorships

Grants Round 2 now open

Council’s latest round of community grants funding is now open. We will be accepting applications until Friday 28 February 2014. Grant categories include Organisation Support, Project Support, Conservation Grants, and the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF). The RADF is an Arts Queensland and Redland City Council partnership to support local arts and culture.
Other funding: Applications for Council’s next sponsorship round will be open from Monday 17 February until Friday 28 March 2014. For more information or to obtain an application form visit our website or call 3829 8911.

 

Surfing the New Business Pipeline

Free business workshop

Join us for an interactive workshop about basic low-cost marketing for your business and creating
a simple, targeted approach to new business development.

Water meter readings

Get wielding the whipper snipper! This week we are reading water meters in Capalaba Central Business District, Ormiston and on Macleay and Perulpa islands. Please make sure our meter readers have clear access to your water meter.
