We are carrying out a hazard reduction burn today at Alexandra Circuit Bushland Refuge, Alexandra Hills.

Although there are ideal conditions for a burn today, the cooler weather and cloud cover is keeping the smoke down, resulting in reports of smoke coming from surrounding suburbs.

Residents can be assured that the burn is under control and will be completed by this afternoon.
