Mayor Williams said the meetings would support community management and resolution of island issues, and help make North Stradbroke Island an attractive place to live, visit and do business.

“Straddie is a unique place, and being an island, can mean different challenges and opportunities to those experienced by mainland communities.

“The township meetings aim to foster a collaborative approach between government, community and the business sector and deliver feedback, partnerships and action on island issues,” Cr Williams said.
